Project Management

ECL operates formal Project Management processes and systems on Microsoft Project software for our work. ECL believes this benefits both the customer and us, not only for the larger projects but for the individual build. Each area of the build is linked into a critical path so if one element changes we can see the impact in the delivery of the programme completion so we can adapt and react to situations and keep the customer fully informed with progress of the build.

Formal systems have no benefit without the qualified and experienced staff to operate them and in this ECL have dedicated Project Managers supported by skilled building professionals to deliver your building. Architects and Surveyors of long standing are on our books and we have built up good working relationships with the local planning departments and building control professionals to progress the works and to be adaptive to any changes in the design or programme.

With formal Project Programmes come tight financial controls which puts the customer in charge of the budget and kept in the loop and is always in an informed position to understand past, current and future costs and the completion cost with signed off stage payment(s) and stage completion certificate(s) to fully meet the customer requirements and any changes or additions to the project are controlled and approved before any works are undertaken so there are no nasty surprises.
